Dematec is committed to developing "the best people", through provision of opportunities to engineering students/graduates and electrical apprentices as well as the ongoing training and development of employees.

Engineering students & graduates

We generally take on 2 - 3 tertiary work experience students per year, through our work experience and graduate program, registered with University of Adelaide and University of South Australia. High achieving tertiary work experience students are regularly invited to work part-time for the duration of their studies.

Scholarships (in the form of an offset of a portion of HECS fees) are offered to students that show outstanding qualities beyond their engineering prowess, such as leadership and intitiative.

Electrical apprentices

Dematec employs an average of one new electrical apprentice each year.

Dematec staff

Dematec encourages and assists staff to identify suitable training activities to further their professional development. We also run regular internal training sessions to promote knowledge sharing among staff.
